Movie Night is this Friday, November 18th at 5:30pm

It’s Movie Night at Lafayette! Students MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT at a 4:1 ratio. That’s four (4) students for every one (1) adult. The other way would be weird. There are two movies to choose from this year, both start at the same time and will end at 7:30pm.

1. Finding Dory; or
2. Ice Age: Collision Course

Pizza will be available for $2 per slice. There will be popcorn. Remind your students to bring a reusable water bottle. Consider volunteering since you already have to be there to watch your children.

At the end of Movie Night, all attendees will be encouraged to clean up and leave the movie areas as were found.

The Walk-A-Thon results are outstanding!

As of November 4th, the Walk-A-Thon’s total pledges were $63,520. $45,819 has been collected with $18,031 remaining. Keep collecting and remember to return your envelopes THIS THURSDAY 11/10!

The Week 3 Popcorn Party winner is Ms. Essex’s class with $1862.25! Mr. Hodges class took the Week 4 Popcorn Party with an impressive $3,333.

This event was only successful because of the hard work of all of the students, the Lafayette staff, and the parent volunteers. It is amazing that we can come together as a community and make this happen every year. The amount of work that goes into this thing is incredible. Jen and Maya, our school is SO LUCKY to have you – thank you for all of your hard work.

Return Walk-A-Thon Envelopes Friday, November 4th!

Please return your Walk-A-Thon pledge envelopes this Friday, November 4th. Some 3rd and 4th week numbers will be available shortly and you will get an update early next week. We are really close to our goal of $60,000, so keep collecting those pledges until November 10th!
