Winter Enrichment: 1/9 - 3/14

We're thrilled to get the Enrollment for Winter Enrichment underway! Registration opens at 9AM on December 6th. We have a variety of interesting classes to offer this season! Please register each child in only (1) class per session at this time. If more space becomes available, we will make further announcements.

SESSION DATES: January 9 - March 14th. NO CLASSES during Mid-Winter Break (Feb 19-23).

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We cannot sustain this program without parent volunteers during the class sessions. We need (1) volunteer per class; spots are limited for this opportunity! Email the Enrichment Coordinators and claim your spot: lafayette.enrichment@gmail.com. The benefits of being a parent volunteer include:

  • Early enrollment in the class of your child's choice!

  • Free tuition for that class!

CLASSES AVAILABLE are as follows:

TUESDAYS

  • (Grades K-2) Stone Soup Musical Theater: Trolls Musical [1 hour]

  • (Grades 2-5) Pokemon Trading Card Game [1.5 hours]

  • (Grades 3-5) Creating Theater w/ Mr. Shaw [1 hour]

WEDNESDAYS

  • (Grades K-2) Mode Music: Ukulele for Beginners [1 hour]

  • (Grades K-5) CraftLab: Under The Sea [1 hour]

  • (Grades 1-5) Miss Reese's Fashion Club: Masquerade Runway [1.5 hours]

  • (Grades 2-5) Pokemon Trading Card Game [1.5 hours]

  • (Grades 3-5) Stone Soup Musical Theater: Willy Wonka [1 hour]

THURSDAYS

  • (Grades K-5) Construction Engineering w/ Ms Hatley [1 hour]

  • (Grades K-5) Japanese Club [1 hour]

  • (Grades 1-5) Chess Wizards [1 hour]

FAQ

  • Students go from their classroom to the Enrichment Pickup Area and begin their classes (after a snack) 10 min after school dismissal.

  • The PTA will provide snacks for students but you are welcome to send your own with your child. No food is permitted during class; only during designated snack time at the end of the day.

  • At Lafayette, we do not want any kids to feel excluded from learning opportunities! Please contact us at lafayette.enrichment@gmail.com for Scholarship options; these are available through the PTA.
