New Library books for classrooms have arrived! As you may know, all of our library books are coded by reading level (A,B,C, etc.). The school has purchased new classroom library book kits and is in need of volunteers to code the books – basically put the appropriate sticker on the binding. This is something that be done at home or at school. You can pick up a box of books, stickers and corresponding lists which indicate which level a particular book is and then bring it back in once you are done. Get the kids involved too!
If you are interested in taking a box of books home to code, please contact our Principal, Cindy Chaput at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Staff Appreciation week is fast approaching!
This is a great opportunity to convey to your child’s teacher your thanks and appreciation for their hard work and dedication this year.
We’ll be organizing some ‘school wide’ activities (breakfast one morning, morning snacks, coffee break and luncheon) so keep your eyes open for future email blasts and emails from your Room Parents on how you can get involved.
Go here to sign up to volunteer to bring something or assist in one of the events.
If you have questions you can reach out to your room parent or Rachel Hagenson at her email.
We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Check out the Art and the Live Auction Catalog on our website. Remember to check in before you arrive!

Full and Partial Scholarships are available to families who request them, no questions asked, for one class per child per session. Please note that scholarships are funded through the proceeds of the PTA Enrichment Program itself, i.e. from all of our families. The goal is to be all-inclusive but also self-sustaining. Please carefully consider the needs of your family when deciding whether to request a scholarship. Scholarship requests will be kept confidential. If the demand for scholarships is too great, the PTA may need to limit the number of scholarships awarded.
- Registrations are due by Monday, March 27th. One registration per child.
- Classes with a stated maximum limit will be determined by lottery. Late registrations will be considered by PTA Enrichment coordinator.
- Two ways to register: On line (processed in real time) OR paper enrollment (processed at same time as on line). If enrolling by paper, please fill out and hand in last two pages of this document to the PTA Command Center’s Drop Slot. Parents will receive an email confirmation prior to the start of the session
Thanks to this amazing community we are sold out of the tickets for the Auction this year. The good news is that if you want to participate you still can as a volunteer. The most important part of this night is the fundraising for the kids but also all of the people who make it happen. If you want to be part of the special night and have an hour or 2 to spare, go sign up the event site at http://signup.com/go/ahCjib
For those that can volunteer for 5 hours or more, you will get a free dinner and drink ticket at the event.
