Back To School Events!
There are so many exciting events coming up that we hope you can join us at as we get ready for going back to school!
August 20th @ 10am-12pm : Kinder + New Student Playdate
The Lafayette PTA has organized two Kindergarten and New Student playdates, which will be held at the Lafayette playground. Come by to let the littles play and get to know other new Lafayette families and students! PTA members will also be available to answer questions. We hope you can join us!
August 26th @ 10am-12pm : Playground Cleanup
Join us for a fun-filled morning on Saturday, August 26th, from 10am to noon, for a Playground Cleanup before the new school year starts.
Bring your enthusiasm, a pair of gloves, and some gardening tools as we work together to spruce up our beloved playground, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all. A Cleaner Alki will also be hosting a Block Drop in front of the school that day to clean up the surrounding streets!
We can't wait to see you there!
August 31st @ 4:30-5:30pm : Back to School Teacher Meet and Greet
Your Lafayette teachers and staff will be hosting a Back to School Teacher Meet and Greet on the playground on Thursday August 31st from 4:30-5:30pm to meet before the start of the new school year!
This event will provide an informal setting for students, parents, and guardians to meet their child's teacher, ask questions, and put faces to names. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to reconnect with old friends and make new ones before the start of the school year.
We look forward to welcoming all our Lafayette families to this exciting event and are eager to kick off the school year on a positive note. See you on the playground!

September 11th @ 7:55am-8:55am : Kindergarten Tears & Cheers
Join other Kindergarten Families in the Lafayette Cafeteria after dropping off your little one on Monday, September 11th for their first day of elementary school for coffee, tea and treats from the PTA.
Administrators and PTA parents will be onsite to hand you a tissue or high five you for making it to full time school and answer any questions you may have about the school year ahead for your student!
Please enter through the main school entrance on California Avenue, and we will see you then!
