SPS: New Student Enrollment Open
New Student Registration begins Jan. 3 for the 2023-24 school year. By registering early, students gain access to important resources and the opportunity to apply for schools other than their assigned attendance school during Open Enrollment Feb. 1– 28.

West Seattle Little League Spring 2023 registration is now open through February 20th for all youth ages 4-14.
Lafayette Family - Neon Dance Party!
Wear Neon Gear and join us for a Lafayette Family Dance January 20 from 6:30-8:00 PM. All students and families are welcome to this no-cost event. There will be a photo booth and snacks for purchase. Note that all students must have a chaperone with them.

Enrichment: Winter 2023
After-school enrichment classes run January 17th-March 13th. Classes filled up fast, but we do have spaces remaining in a few of our classes!
Juneteenth
The word "Juneteenth" comes from a blending of the date, June and 19th. Traditional celebrations have included barbecues and red foods and drinks, such as strawberry soda. This holiday is important to many people, and for whom it is considered the second or real Independence Day.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee continues to stand in solidarity with all communities experiencing hate. We are saddened and angered at the recent uprising of hate toward the Jewish community, and the continued hate toward the Black and AAPI communities. We condemn acts of racism, bullying violence, and xenophobia, and commit to creating safe, inclusive, and equitable spaces for our community.
